Coach Evans describes his involvement with softball as follows: “My wife Linda and I are proud parents of three girls, two Flathead grads and one Wolfpack grad, all of which played sports with softball being one of them. I have been lucky enough to volunteer at both high school program's at one time or another for the last 8 years. My daughters kept me involved in coaching summer ball & KYSA for many years as well. My family has also followed my selfish side and kind of forced into the sport that I continue to play entering into my 39th year. I've been lucky enough to play at all levels of Men's Fastpitch including state, national and even a world tournament. Still involved I get to play in several tournaments a year with my favorite being the "Shaina's Challenge" hosted in our hometown of Havre. This fundraising event is going into its 3rd year in memory of our daughter and gathers over 100 players from all over the U.S. and Canada. I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at Glacier High School and enjoy the time I spend helping in any way.” Coach Evans is the Wolfpack Pitching Coach and provides instruction as well as live pitching in practice to all of our athletes.
